Blue Sands, Black Houses
In the sands of the Turvaan Empire, soldiers are raised to their station and expected to die in the service of the Empire (thus though Turvaan would never raise undead troops, they have taken to calling their soldiers The Walking Dead). Each family must give up their first born to the military, and given tradition most families proudly do so. Soldiers here have one family which consists of their unit, their patrol, their district, their command (known as a Fist of Turvaan) and finally their Empire itself first and foremost. All soldiers of the empire belong to this family and know their place within it. No soldier can earn a name aside from brother or sister until their exploits are officially recognized and entered into the Journals of Strategy. Those not scribed in the Journals are termed Nameless.
This particular Nameless is very close to earning a place in Strategy as the giving of a name is called and thus being recognized as a living asset to the Empire.
